350 years ago Nicolaus Steno published the "Prodromus to a Dissertation on a Solid Naturally Contained within a Solid", proposing a universal method to study minerals, rocks and fossils. This website celebrates the event by remembering some facts about Steno first stay in Tuscany, in 1667-1669.
